Palantir Announces Safe Schools for FirstClass, Version 2 |

In January we launched the Safe Schools Reporting Application using FirstClass and FCAS. Based on questions and comments regarding the initial release, we are pleased today to announce Version 2 of this same application.
The system has been upgraded by adding the following features:
Numeric Prefix - you can add a prefix to the serial number that is used by the system to identify each transaction, so for instance you could add 2010- in front of the serial number if you wanted to identify the year; you could alter it on the first day of each month and add the month with March 2010 -
Guest Account ID - in order to accommodate persons that need to fill in the form but are not actually FirstClass users, we have added the ability to let them log in with a designated guest account. If they fill in the form from the guest account, rather than submit the user's FirstClass name, they are required to enter a name to identify them.
Custom expulsion reasons - to give meaning to the 'Any other reason' reason, you can add up to twenty Board approved reasons for expulsion to the system, and they will appear on the form in a drop down dialog box, and print out on the printed copy.
Custom graphics - the printed copy can have a custom graphic added to the page for identification purposes when printing and including in the OSR.
Those who have purchased Version 1 will receive a free upgrade to version 2. Installation will be available next week.
A RAD application, this system:
- enables staff to submit the required "Safe Schools Incident Reporting Form - Part I" in a secure environment, only to the specific target for each person
- enables the receiving administrator to manage the incoming Form - Part I as per regulations
- enables the receiving administrator to send "Safe Schools Incident Reporting Form - Part II Acknowledgement of Receipt" as the reply to each incident form received
- serializes both incoming form and outgoing reply with the same serial number
- retains the incoming report in a conference controlled by the receiving administrator, no where else
- permits management of the incoming forms by the receiving administrator, no one else
- permits printing of the incoming form for inclusion in the OSR as per regulations
The SafeSchools FirstClass Report Application is $499.00 per server, plus GST and PST. We will install on your system, and train your administrator in how to set up the structure. More extensive installation is available upon request. SafeSchools FirstClass Report Application requires FirstClass 9.x and FCAS 3.243 or higher.
